Over the weekend, PB participated in an ice fishing derby over in Wyoming. Bear Cub and I went too.
We left the lodge for home on Sunday and were about a 1/2 hour from The Homestead when the lodge called PB cell phone to ask if we’d forgotten a camouflage backpack.
Both BC and my laptop computers were in that backpack. The lodge was a four hour drive from our house. One way. Ugh.
Guess who drove that round trip today to go get that backpack. Yep…PB.
Of course the day wasn’t a total loss. He did happen to scout out some future properties for some metal detecting this summer…
Anyway, the Atta Boy Award for today definitely goes out to Papa Bear for driving all that way (again) on his day off.
Thank you again PB.
We’ll be posting about the Pinedale Ice Fishing Derby on Wednesday.

Thanks MB, but it was the right thing to do. I have thank you for taking care of the things I had planned on doing that day too! PB
That should score some serious brownie points PB! That’s a LOT of time on the road in one day.
Wow! He deserves a lot more than the blue ribbon – maybe a Papa Bear favorite dinner? That’s a lot of time!
I did end up making one of his favorites. It’s a shrimp and pasta dish he loves.
Wow. But you can’t let a computer go, they generally hold your life’s work. Or at least the last few years. Way to go, Papa Bear.
